Rhythmic gymnastics is where dance and drama come together to tell a story. As a developed form of ballet, rhythmic gymnastics was perfected and turned into its current form by the Soviet school. Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport and art that combines elements of ballet, gymnastics, dance, and apparatus manipulation. With the sound of music, individuals or teams of five manipulate one or two pieces of apparatus to artfully express their inner beauty. The apparatus include Rope, Hoop, Ball, Clubs and Ribbon.With rhythmic gymnastics, athletes develop strength, flexibility, agility, endurance and
hand-eye coordination.

by age and ability. From beginner and intermediate to advanced and pre-competitive,
gymnasts work towards achieving awards in club competitions and performances as

Artistic gymnastics is a form of gymnastics where each gymnast communicates her/his own character and style through creative use of different equipment and apparatus including, Vault, Uneven and Parallel Bars, Beam, Pommel Horse and Floor. Artistic gymnastics helps athletes develop agility, flexibility, balance and self- confidence. Other than providing fun and fitness, mastering artistic gymnastics enables athletes to participate in local, regional and international competitions. Unlike many other sports in which boys’ and girls’ sports are comparable, boys’ and girls’ artistic gymnastics share few similarities bur have many differences. Differences include, number of events, equipment, routines and scoring.Athletes are usually grouped by age and ability. From beginner and intermediate to
